I haven’t always been a super natural girl. I grew up in the 90’s where we are everything that taste delicious and was not good for you in any way, shape, or form. I also very fondly remember beggin’ strips for the dogs of the 90s. I happily handed those out to my little Yorkshire terrier and Pomeranian. They were the true loves of my life from age 11-32. I will never forget them as they have crossed over and are running pain free in heaven waiting for me. College happened, then post college and when I met my now husband he had a zoo that lived with him. I walked into that apartment with two dogs and four cats. I can just tell you my allergies almost stopped us from continuing this relationship. Then he grew on me and so did his animals. We still have squints who is the most beautiful Maincoon mix you have ever seen. Isn’t that what all the mamas say? She’s a very quiet girl and sweet until you have hit your petting limit. I didn’t know much about cats as I’m more allergic to them then dogs but I was willing because of my love for my husband. After 2 years together we got that itch that every pet lover gets and I went searching for a dog. I would like to say its a big deal and seeing that we did live together unmarried I would never suggest this to anyone in the faith. God wants you to be married and living together not before. It caused so much extra stress and I can see now looking back why it was a horrible decision. Financially it made sense but when it comes to God he will always take care if your needs if you are in his will. Well we found the most perfect, handsome boy ever. Now, I love all dogs I wanted a small lap dog that I could pick up if need be. In my career I have worked with all dogs of many sizes. The ones who are as big as a man are not going anywhere if they don’t want to. So tiny it was. I also don’t love the look of dachshunds. I thought it was just the funniest looking animal out there. Let me tell you. Have you ever held one? Snuggled one? Your mid will change. They are the most loving and loyal dogs I’ve ever met. This was my first encounter with a dachshund and I was in love so for a small price that was the size of a large city we took home the most nervous dog. He hated the car ride and to this day is not a fan. I will attach a link for the car seat we have and he gives that a chance.  Recently, I have started a new job and we have had to find him a sitter. Through praying and trial and error we have found the perfect friend to our boy. He isn’t too happy to have his mama around but he sure loves new friends.
